An Evening Of Contrast

Ah, black and white photographs.
There are times when I walk about and say to myself "that composition is begging to be captured..." even if it means weaving my way through café tables to get a shot of the ceiling.

Mildly curious customers glance in the direction of my focused camera as I mull over the choice of portrait or landscape.

But in the end it is the latte steaming on the table that captures their frame of mind as I vanish from the scene.

  3. Hello Kelly B. So good to know you through your profile on the blogger. I am glad to stop by your blog "This side of Heaven" and the post on it "An Evening of Contrast". I am more driven to write you because of the missions purpose being materialized in your life. We do have a program where by we encourage young people and well as adults from the West come to Mumbai, India on as short / long term missions trip to work with us in the slums of Mumbai amongst poorest of poor to share the good news of Jesus Christ and give them new life, future and purpose. I am in the Pastoral ministry for last 35yrs in this great city of Mumbai a city with great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the broken hearted. We also encourage young people as I said earlier to come to work with us on a short / long missions trip. We would love to have you come to Mumbai to work with us along with your friends during your summer / Christmas vacation. My email id is: dhwankhede@gmail(dot)com and my name is Diwakar Wankhede. Looking forward to hear from you very soon.
